Language as a social construct intrigues me: how language is used to control societies. Language is a symbol that has taken over our lives, a net that covers our experiences. It grows tighter and tighter until the realm underneath is cut and squeezed- manipulated and distorted.

This body of work attempts to subvert language’s power, to create dissonance in your mind regarding the word. Using the visual moving-picture aspect of film, along with poetry, physical objects, and sound, I rupture any idea of a concrete social foundation.  My work connects with your internal experience, unencumbered by words.
